Polis Chrysochous situated where ancient Marion and Arsinoe used to be, at the Archaeological Museum you can see findings from the area

The Museum of Marion-Arsinoe at Polis was built in neoclassical architecture, opened in 1998 mainly to house the findings from the ancient city and necropolis of Marion, which was renamed Arsinoe in the 3rd century BC by Ptolemy II Philadelphus in honor of his sister his wife.

The construction of the museum was funded by both public and private sectors.
There are two rooms in the museum.

Archaeological polis_

Hall I, named in honor of N. shacolas the private investor, which outlines items in chronological sequence to reflect the historical development of the city of Marion-Arsinoe and the region from the Neolithic period until the Middle Ages.

At Hall II of the Museum of Marion-Arsinoe at polis chrysochous, there is a collection of findings from the extensive necropolis(city of death) of the region.

Facilities: At the entrance there is a sloping ramp for people in wheelchairs. There are no toilets and signs for people in wheelchairs. Pay in Cash only.

The museum has a bookshop where visitors have the opportunity to purchase books or cards. The museum has a parking lot. Over 11 people 20% discount on the price (1.70 euros) with accompaniment by a licensed guide. There are weekly tickets (17.10 euros) and daily (6.80 million) of which one can obtain it from any museum or archaeological site under the antiquities department.
