Visit the local Palaipafos Museum (Old Mansion) at Kouklia paphos

The museum is housed in the east wing of the medieval manor house of Lusignan, which is located inside the archaeological site of Kouklia. The findings are exhibited in two rooms of the villa, through which presents objects found during excavations of the Temple of Afrodite (Venus) and the surrounding area and the necropolis of the region.


In the first room on the floor of which was placed a Roman mosaic, finds out from the Sanctuary of Aphrodite. In this room is the conical stone, which was the aniconic presence honored the goddess. These findings, which date from the 2nd millennium BC until Roman times, includ stone tools, metal objects, examples of pottery, jewelry, terracotta statuettes, inscriptions and sculptures.
